[port] Hoje eu li uma parte do livro sobre a "Natureza da Inteligência", em que o autor do capítulo (Roger Schank) fala sobre como deve ser a AI, mas o texto me pareceu um pouco antiquado. Talvez porque foi escrito nos anos 2000, ou seja, antes da consciência da AI como uma coisa tangível, mas mal entendida. Esse capítulo é, ao mesmo tempo, uma parte do livro que me é chata mas interessante em extratos específicos, como quando o autor começa sua tese fornecendo exemplos de como uma educação propriamente interativa poderia ser muito vantajosa com o advento da AI, o que não foi plenamente explorado ainda pela sociedade do modo descrito. Na verdade, nem menos tentamos criar um tipo de interação dinâmica com a AI que seja mais frutífera que o ChatGPT, que, me baseando nas evidências contemporâneas, é uma máquina com o efeito colateral triste de remover nosso pensamento crítico se não usada com moderação. [eng] Today I read a part of the book "What is Intelligence?", which the author of the chapter (Roger Schank) states how AI must truly be. For me, though, the text seems quite dated. Maybe it's due to the fact that it was written in the 2000's, before the public consensus started regarding AI as a tangible but misinterpreted concept. This chapter is, at the same time, a part of the book which is boring but quite interesting in specific parts, such as when the author starts his thesis by giving out examples of how an appropriately interactive aducation with algorithms might be very advantagious with the advent of AI, something which hasn't really been well explored yet. In fact, we haven't even started to develop a truly dynamic interaction with AI, at least not more dynamic than ChatGPT, a machine that, by the looks of it and the contemporary evidence gathered, has the unfortunate side effect of removing any semblance critical thought from our minds, that is, if you don't use it moderately. [it] Oggi ho letto una parte del libro sulla "Cos'è l'intelligenza?", in cui l'autore di questo capitolo (Roger Schank) parla su come deve essere l'IA ma il testo è sembrato un po’ datato, forse perché è stato scritto negli anni 2000, cioè, prima della conoscenza sull’IA come una cosa tangibile però malintesa. Questo capitolo è, allo stesso tempo, una parte del libro che mi è sembrata noiosa però un tanto interessante in estratti specifici, come quando l’autore inizia la sua tesi fornicando esempi di come una educazione propriamente interattiva con algoritmi potrebbe essere piuttosto vantaggiosa con l’avvento dell’IA, il che non è attualmente stato pienamente sfruttato nel modo descritto. Infatti, nemmeno abbiamo ancora cercato di creare un tipo di interazione dinamica con l’IA che non sia più fruttifera di qualcosa come il ChatGPT, che a quanto pare basandomi sulle evidenze contemporanee, è una macchina con l’infortunato effetto collaterale di annullare il pensiero critico dalla mente di chi non sa usarla.
